About
Bansberia
Bansberia (BAHNSH-bayrree-ah) was originally one of the seven villages that formed Saptagram, a major port town in medieval Bengal. However, the town was eventually abandoned and Bansberia gradually became a separate municipal town along the Hooghly River.
